Idaho Humane male/female ferals must arrive in TRAPS; no exceptions. Feral cats will get an ear notch/tip. You can check out traps the Saturday prior to your appointment. A feral cat is one that will scratch or bite another person. If your cat is not feral, contact the clinic directly at 342-3599 to schedule a tame cat appointment. Cost is $35 males, $45 females and they can come in a crate. If you have feral kittens that you've tamed from a feral mom that you are fixing, they qualify for the feral clinic.

Step 1: Schedule your feral cat/s
Go to http://www.supersaas.com/schedule/IHSFeralCats/
Create a "new user account."
Type in the password "feral".
Click on "Create a new user account" and fill in your email address and a password.
Click on a calendar date and slot that works for you.
Click on "new appointment" and complete the form.
Click "Create an Appointment" and fill in the next form.
Finally "Make an Appointment." You're DONE!
Next time, simply log in with your email and password.
To cancel your appointment, click on the small white box next to your name and DELETE appointment.

If you are unable to log in at a later date, it's likely because I occasionally have to purge the client list. If that happens, simply sign up again as a new user with password "feral."

Step 2: Contact Wendy prior to Saturday before your appointment at 888-1064 to check out traps.

Step 3: As soon as you get your traps, tie the flap open so it doesn't trip and feed the cats ONLY in the trap to get them trained to go in and out. Cover the inside bottom and outside top of the trap with an old towel so the cat will be comfy and feel secure (prevents thrashing).  DO NOT leave a cat in the trap longer than 48 hours total. Use a cage or large crate with a litter box if needed.

Step 4: Trap your cat/s the night prior to your appointment. Refer to Trapping Instructions.

Step 5: Don't worry if you don't catch the cat. Just give it your best effort. If you won't make your appointment, please do cancel online by clicking on the white box next to your name. Appointment slots are at a premium, so cancel also if you won't be trapping so others can use that time.

Step 6: After surgery, keep the cat in the trap for recovery from 12-24 hours, but no longer. Make sure the cat has water and food after awakening from anesthesia.

Step 7: Be considerate and return your traps ASAP after releasing the cats so that others may use them. We have a limited supply. You are receiving clean, sterilized traps. Return them in the same condition or you will be charged a cleaning fee. Wendy isn't in the business of cleaning traps and laundry.

Thank you for scheduling,
